"The aim of the training is to educate agricultural engineers with agricultural, technical and economic knowledge. Their skills are based on general scientific knowledge, on a knowledge of the European Union, and on an appropriate level of practical knowledge. Engineers are able to direct agricultural production, to adopt technological processes in a given farm as necessary, as well as to introduce new technologies. They recognize the roles to be filled in the food chain. In their work they seek and prioritize solutions that promote the health of society and individuals, while also protecting the environment. They are prepared to continue their studies for a master's degree. In addition to traditional agricultural technologies, our aim at the University of Nyíregyháza is to introduce the conditions of innovative ecological farming, landscape management, agri-environmental management, water management and rural development, as well as the technologies of sustainable crop production, horticulture and animal husbandry. Secondary school final exam. Proof of Language proficiency - upper intermediate level / CEFR B2 level (Having a language certificate is not a compulsory requirement. English communication skills can be proved on the online interview during the application procedure.)

The application procedure is based on an evaluation system of 100 points (50 points are given for motivation and educational background, and the other 50 points for language proficiency according to the online interview). Following the formal check up of the application documents, the staff of the faculty will organize the oral entrance examination.
