The Pedagogy BA provides a comprehensive understanding of learning and teaching, combining theoretical and practical knowledge in education and related fields (e.g., psychology, educational history, philosophy, sociology, policy, and digital education). The program emphasizes interdisciplinary courses that cover the education system, modern learning theories, research methods, and equal opportunities (inclusion, child protection, educational rights). Through internships and projects, students gain insights into institutions and organizations in public, private, adult, and vocational education, as well as civil society and the private sector. The program also offers self-awareness and skills training, individual mentoring, and career and crisis counselling.
Students who have completed secondary education (school leaving certificate) can apply for the course. Those with work experience are also expected to have the same requirements.
