The main objective of this MA in Educational Sciences program is to give participants a comprehensive overview of schooling as well as the individual and social processes of learning and instruction. They will be able to further their expertise in research and professional communication.

Applications are accepted from college or university graduates. Both oral and written competence in the English language is required for entry into the programme. The programme is recommended for those who wish to gain a comprehensive overview of schooling as well as the individual and social processes of learning and instruction, and for those who would like to develop their research skills, and further their expertise by becoming familiar with the newest research methods and findings, and for those who wish to understand the nature of phenomena and the methods and instruments with which they are examined.

Application requirements: Bachelor level studies as specified in Minimal Requirements, a demonstrated proficiency in English (Intermediate level language exam, at least IELTS 6.5 or equivalent, a certificate from an internationally recognised language examination body), and an individual interview online. Academic Records: the officially issued originals and the certified English translations of the diploma and of the full certified transcript of the bachelor level studies, including an explanation of the credit and the grading system. Applicants register via the online application system. The entrance exam will be conducted in person, at a venue belonging to the Faculty of Arts OR at a venue previously designated by the Faculty of Arts in the applicant’s place of residence OR through a videoconference. The applicant is identified on the basis of personal documents. The entrance exam consists of two parts: the applicant\\\'s presentation of a topic related to Education and an interview focusing on motivation, background and plans related to education.
