The Doctoral School of Public Administration Sciences was established in 2013. Currently, it is the only doctoral school specializing in the field of public administration in Hungary. The aim of the Doctoral School’s program is to provide postgraduate-level education to professionals (researchers and practitioners) working in the field public administration. The Doctoral School of Public Administration Sciences focuses on 7 areas of research: (1) History of state and public administration (2) Jurisprudence (3)Public administration management and sociology (4) Economics (5) Political sciences and governance (6) International and European studies(7) Human resources in public administration

Entrance examination:
The Admission Interviews are conducted in person or via MS Teams organized by the doctoral school. The Admission Interview is usually preceded by the evaluation of submitted research proposals from the applicants. At the interview, the applicant’s scientific (professional) performance, previous research activities and foreign language proficiency are assessed with points awarded. Maximum of 100 points may be obtained at the interview. The interview will last about 15-20 mins.
