The Instruction of English as a Foreign Language program offers a two-semester practice-oriented approach to help you pursue your career as an English teacher. It will provide you with the expertise you need to understand key issues and trends in language learning and teaching in a range of contexts. It also helps you gain an in-depth understanding of the links between theory, practice and research and apply your knowledge in the area of classroom instruction, assessment and materials development.
The applicant has to submit the following documents by uploading them to the online application portal of the scholarship: Certified and translated (if originals are not in English) copy of transcripts showing satisfactory completion of BA degree, BA degree certificate, CV in English, Motivation letter (introduction plus field of interest, etc.) in 3000 to 3500 characters, Copy of valid passport, Medical certificate, Official copy of the following language exam certificates: Acceptable online language exams: Duolingo online exam from score 110, IELTS Indicator from score 5.5, Official copy of the following language exam certificates: TOEFL (iBT internet-based): 66 points (www.ets.org/toefl), IELTS: Overall Band Score: 5.5 (www.ielts.org), Cambridge ESOL: B2 level (www.cambridgeenglish.org), TELC: B2 level (https://www.telc.net/en.html), ECL: B2 level (http://www.ecl-test.com/). You do not have to submit an official English test result if one of the following criteria applies to you: you have completed your undergraduate studies in the English language (please, upload an official proficiency certificate issued by your previous university).
