Main objectives of the MSc program are education and training of chemists who have a broad theoretical knowledge and excellent practical skills in chemistry and have a proper knowledge in other natural sciences (e.g. mathematics, physics), informatics and have a good command of a foreign language. They are qualified for performing creative work both in chemical research and development. They are trained for recognizing and solving problems in these fields including synthesis and functionalization of compounds, qualitative and quantitative analytical measurements and structure determination. They are qualified to occupy leading positions in chemical industry, administration, environmental management, environmental protection and quality control and management. They are well educated to continue their study on PhD courses in chemistry or in related fields.
