The programme aims to transfer cutting-edge research and scientific knowledge in the areas of business and management, as well as quantitative methods (econometrics) furthermore to involve doctoral students in research enabling them to achieve results that are internationally recognized. Doctoral students are encouraged and supported to continue their academic work and to build a wide range of international scientific-research networks with scholars and domestically and internationally recognized institutions in the disciplines of business and management. The programme offers three different specialisations: Business (especially Finance, Marketing, Tourism), Management (especially Innovation, Knowledge, Logistics, Sustainability), Quantitative methods (econometrics).

Master's degree, B2 level English language certificate [equivalent to ESOL, IELTS, ECL, Euroexam, OTE, TOEIC (R&L) Total, TELC, Cambridge English Scale, TOEFL iBT, Global Scale of English (Pearson)] or Attestation of Language Proficiency in the case of former studies in English. A preliminary acceptance letter from a supervisor accredited at the Doctoral School of Business and Management. A research concept that is conform with one of the topics offered by the Doctoral School of Business and Management at University of Pannonia (www.doktori.hu) and a CV are required.

After submitting all the necessary application documents including the statement of support of their future supervisor, the applicant takes a professional entrance examination (online interview) organised by the Admission Committee of the Doctoral School. During the interview the applicant reports on the scientific experiences and presents the outline of their planned research and proves their knowledge in the chosen topic. The results are measured on a scale of 1-100 and the applicants have to score at least 56 points to get admitted.
