Graduates from Timber Industry Engineering BSc programme are leading the production of engineering structures (furniture, windows, doors, other wooden products) by utilizing and designing wood or wood-based materials. They are expected to construct and organize the investments of mechanically, structurally and technologically complex structures respecting the nature and human environment. This study programme enables the graduate to assume active role in future technical developments in timber industry and to further his/her education by entering an MSc. programme.

All the documents of the applicant will be proved by the faculty's coordinator on a check-list. Missing documents will also be marked. If the applicant will be chosen for an interview, the coordinator sends the applicant's document to the members of the Admission Commitee (AC). The entrance exam happens in the frame of a Skype-interview with the participation of the AC. About the time, content and procedure of the entrance exam the coordinator informs the applicant with consideration of possible time-zone differences. During the exam, the AC proves the language competence, the thesis, contant, current theme, diploms and publications of the applicant. The professional interest, presentation skills and ideas will also be proven. All these will be evaluated on a 100-point scale . After the exam, the applicant will be informed about the result. In case of missing documents, the coordinator informs the applicant to send them to the institution.
