The course aims to develop high-level competence in English, an understanding of the structure and communicative requirements of English, knowledge about the literature and culture of English-speaking countries, as well as an openness and ability to cope with linguistic variety that characterises English as a Lingus Franca in global communication.

Oral examination to reveal the motivation and the preliminary training of the applicant. The maximum score is 20 points: 0-10 points for the applicant\'s English language competence, and 0-10 points for general knowledge of the culture and current sociopolitical situation of the English Speaking countries . The oral exam is administered via Zoom. The decision about the admission is taken by the admission committee of the faculty, based on the entrance exam score and the written documentation handed in by the applicant.
