The research focus of the Gyula Petrányi Doctoral School is the normal and pathological immune regulation, molecular pathology and modern therapy of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, immunopathology of infections and immunodeficiency. The regular members of the School are partly clinicians and partly basic researchers. The regular members have wide Hungarian and international reputation. Doctor of Medicine/Dentistry/Pharmacy degrees or MSc degree in the field of molecular biology, biotechnology, chemistry, acceptance by a supervisor and a doctoral school (including a preliminary research proposal signed by the supervisor and the head of the school)

The applicant has to present his/her previous scientific activities and answer scientific questions related to the chosen topic in front of the entrance examination committee. Application documents must include a preliminary research proposal and statement by the future supervisor.
