The aim of the undergraduate training in computer science is to train professionals who are able to perform the design and development tasks of data and program systems of technical and information infrastructure systems and services, as well as to solve their installation and operation tasks. The specialty of the computer science engineeer training at the University of Nyíregyháza is that we devote a large number of hours to practicing the operation tasks of computer networks and the development tasks of the IoT (internet of things). Of course, modern program development technologies are also part of the curriculum. The practical training is facilitated by the involvement of software development companies operating in the region.
High school / secondary education (or higher). Good results in Mathematics. English language skills at upper intermediate level or higher (at level CEFR B2 or IELTS 5.5) – Having a language certificate is not a compulsory requirement. The language level will be assessed during the online interview.

The application procedure is based on an evaluation system of 100 points: 50 points are given for motivation, professional knowledge and educational background, and the other 50 points for language proficiency according to the online interview. Following the formal check up of the application documents, the university will organize the oral entrance examination. The entrance exam is successful, if the applicant have at least 60 points.
