The Doctoral Program in Nutrition aims to provide the opportunity to obtain a doctoral degree in the field of medical sciences, in the field of nutrition and health, health and medicine. Research in the field of nutritional science is of increasing importance in the prevention of obesity, diabetes and digestive and vascular diseases. Its relation to food quality is a growing part of the world's research in this field. The physiological effects of food, with particular emphasis on clynically exploitable changes in effects. Particular attention will be given to the nutrition therapeutics chapters that exist alongside the drug and food categories, some of which will cover these specific therapeutics, drug-food interactions, and nutritional aspects of specific disease states. MSc degree in the field of agricultural sciences, MSc degrees in nutrition, medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, public health, molecular biology, biotechnology in medicine, and clinical laboratory research are accepted by the Doctoral school as an entrance requirement (including a preliminary research proposal signed by the supervisor).

The professional evaluation of the educational materials (degree, transcripts, results) and the research topic is the task of the relevant Doctoral School. This evaluation is followed by an online interview with one of the professors of the Faculty, which aims to check the applicant\'s level of motivation, language skills and professional knowledge. (In case of a missing certificate about the English language proficiency we conduct an online interview in order to check the applicant’s English language skills.) Application documents must include a preliminary research proposal and statement by the future supervisor.
