Doctoral School of Pharmacy ensures education and scientific research in two doctoral programs. The main research fields in pharmacology program are: pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmaceutical technology. PhD students in microbiology can join to research on virology, bacteriology or mycology. Owing to the good cooperation with clinics and the laboratory diagnostic task of the supervisors, not only theoretical, but also clinical research topics are available.
MSc degree in the field of biology, chemistry or Doctor of Medicine/Dentistry /Pharmacy degrees (such as pharmacist, biologist, molecular biologist, medical doctor, dentist, chemist),acceptance by a supervisor and a doctoral school (including a preliminary research proposal signed by the supervisor and the head of the school)

Entrance conditions are specified to ensure the required knowledge and positive attitude towards scientific work. Most important expectations are: a good quality degree, high level of English, outstanding Student Research Society activity, well-planned research activity and available sources. Applications pre-assessed by the Committee of the Doctoral School and signed by the head of the school can be submitted only. Applicants of all doctoral schools belonging to the Medical Science Doctoral Council of the University of Debrecen have to undergo a uniformed entrance procedure with a 100-point system (regulated by Annex 3A of the Rules and Regulations of Doctoral Schools). Application documents must include a preliminary research proposal and statement by the future supervisor.
