Admission Requirements for the Hungarian Dance University
Step 1: Application Form Submission
To begin the admission process at the Hungarian Dance University, candidates must complete and submit the official application form. Along with the form, the following documents are required:
- A CV (Curriculum Vitae) outlining your education and dance background.
- Dance photos that showcase your physicality and technique.
- Proof of your previous education (dance training, graduation certificate).
- Confirmation of the admission fee payment.
These documents must be submitted as part of the initial application to initiate the review process.
Step 2: Online Video Pre-Selection
Candidates must submit a video for the pre-selection round. The video must include specific exercises as outlined in the admission requirements for the chosen specialization. The submission should be made via a link sent to contact@mte.eu.
The video content varies based on specialization, so please refer to the relevant sections of the information document and check the detailed admission requirements for the correct exercises and format on the webpage\'s \'Admission\' menu.
The requirements of the contemporary dance entrance exam are a contemporary solo, modern exercises and basic ballet exercises.
Step 3: On-site Audition (for Candidates from Europe)
After successfully passing the video pre-selection, candidates residing in Europe are required to attend an in-person audition at the university, assessed by the Audition Board.
Note: For applicants residing overseas or for those applying for folk dance or modern ballroom dance specialisations, a video audition is allowed for this round. Again, please make sure to review the detailed admission requirements for the audition process.
Step 4: Notification of Results
Once the audition process is complete, you will be notified of the results. If successful, the university will provide information regarding the next steps, including the final enrollment procedures and necessary administrative details.
