The aim of the programme: the training of teachers in the fields of technology and informatics in the preparatory years of school education in order to obtain a vocational qualification in vocational secondary school, in vocational grammar school, in school-based and out-of-school education, in retraining and further training of adults, and in vocational training specified in the National Training Register; the training of teachers capable of performing the pedagogical tasks of a school, pedagogical research, planning, development tasks in the field of technical and IT vocational training, as well as capable of managing the problems of the age group taking part in vocational training and also capable of meeting the requirements of students in special needs. A further aim of the programme is to prepare the participants to continue their studies in doctoral programmes

The entrance eximination process consists of two steps: first the University of Dunaújváros checks the bachelor degree certificate or equivalent certificate of the applicants. The university can accept only engineering based degree certificates, preferably from mechanical engineering area. The second step is a Skype interview conducted by one of the professors of the relevant teaching department. The oral interview gives a chance for the Admission Committee to check the aims and motivation for choosing this field of study. It is also a possibility for us to check that your English skills and professional background are adequate for completing the chosen major.
