The aim of the programme is to provide students with complex, interdisciplinary knowledge of the Hungarian cultural traditions, have great knowledge of its unique features and its regional parallels. They are also capable of effectively representing our national culture in other cultural code systems and take part in intercultural dialogue in an unbiased way. Students can acquaint themselves with a discipline of their choice by taking one of the specialisation tracks.
A C1-level, internationally recognized language certificate in the target language or a diploma in the target language. A bachelor degree in a connected study field is also required.

The application documents are processed by the Department of International Affairs and then forwarded to the department responsible for the given degree programme. The department checks the documents and organizes an interview by telephone, online (e.g. Skype) or in person. After the entrance interview, the department comes to a decision and informs the Department of International Affairs.
